This website is an independent visitor guide. Tour links go to Viator or GetYourGuide, where any booking is made. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you book through one of them we may earn a commission, and the price you pay is the same. We help you choose a tour, but we do not sell or operate any tour ourselves. Every tour is run by an independent local operator, and the operator’s name appears on each listing.

By following a booking link you leave this site; the booking is made with Viator or GetYourGuide under that platform’s terms and the operator’s.

Bookings & Payment

  • Bookings are processed and fulfilled by the platform you choose (Viator or GetYourGuide) and by the tour operator.
  • By completing a booking, you agree to that platform’s terms and the operator’s policies: Viator Terms of Use, GetYourGuide General Terms and Conditions.
  • Booking confirmations and vouchers are issued by the platform you booked with.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation terms are set by the platform and the operator and are shown on each listing before you pay.

To cancel or modify a booking: contact the platform you booked with, using the details in your booking confirmation email.

Prices Shown on This Site

Prices, ratings and review counts on this site are copied from the listings, with the month they were checked next to them. Some Viator listings are priced by the operator in euros; the site says which currency a figure is in. Operators change prices by season and by date. The price you pay is the one the platform shows at checkout.

Tour Operator Responsibility

  • The tour operator (not this website) is solely responsible for:

    • Running the tour safely and as described
    • The guides, the vehicles, any meals and any tickets included in a tour
    • Changes to the route and the places visited, and cancellations
    • Visitor safety and insurance
    • Handling complaints or problems during the tour

  • When traffic, weather, snow, a closed site or an event get in the way, the operator may change the order of the stops, swap a stop for another or cancel a tour on the day. Refund or new-date options follow the terms shown on the listing you booked.

Liability & Disclaimer

  • This website is a visitor guide that refers you to Viator and GetYourGuide. We are not liable for:

    • Tour quality, safety, or the accuracy of descriptions
    • Personal injury, illness, loss, or damage during a tour
    • Cancellations, delays, or changes made by operators
    • Disputes between customers and operators

  • Sound of Music tours mean hours on a coach, minivan or bike, walking on cobbles and slopes, cold or wet weather at the lakes, and, on some tours, a meal or a cooking class. Tell the operator about mobility needs, allergies and diets when you book. Everyone takes part at their own risk and must follow the guide’s instructions, keep to the meeting times, and keep to the rules of the places visited.

  • The operator’s own liability terms apply as stated in its booking conditions.

Intellectual Property

Tour titles, descriptions, images and prices come from Viator, GetYourGuide and the tour operators. All trademarks and content belong to their respective owners. This site is not affiliated with the film The Sound of Music or its rights holders; the title is used only to say what the tours visit.

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of this site constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
